TBD's economy will be heavily influenced by players. Players will be able to open various businesses ranging from small stalls in marketplaces to local taverns and town shops. These buildings are all managed by an appointed player in your current town to both limit the amount of shops and control the prices of these buildings. Below is a list of businesses players can run and/or work to become:

  • Stalls

  • Libraries/Scribe

  • Taverns

  • Smithy

  • Craftsmen Shop

  • Potter

  • Glassblowers

  • Tailor/Leather worker/Armorsmith

  • Weaponsmith

  • Alchemist

  • Stable(hand)

  • Serf Dealer

  • Brothel

  • Inn

  • Mail Services

The list goes on, but the idea is that you have the choice to earn your wages through the traditional means or by going out and making a name for yourself elsewhere.

Other means of making money, but aren't advised for you honest individual:

  • Piracy

  • Pillaging

  • Thievery

  • Hijacking mail/delivery services

  • Taking kingdoms/villages
